BACHELOR’S THESIS | INTRODUCTION
This is a 7 month project that I did under the mentorship of Matthew Cunnigham, He is a Concept artist based in LA and famous for his contribution in movies like GI JOE retaliation, Source code etc. The project started with extensive research in comparative mythology to find evidences and parellels of advance sciences and using that to design/conceptualise future design applications. The research later focused on the binary aspects of many mythologies and how we can apply this binary ideology to the automotive industry. The aim was to interpret the binary nature of reality in the transportation realm and to show how different combinations of its binary elements defines different transportation systems in different context.
I-CHING AND THE 64 HEXAGRAMS
I found my primary inspiration in the I Ching, which is an ancient Chinese divination system that uses hexagrams to provide insights and guidance on personal and spiritual matters. It is considered a foundational text of Taoism and Confucianism and has been influential in Chinese philosophy, culture, and spirituality for centuries.
AIM OF THE PROJECT
To define the Binary Elements of the Transportation and how its combination and permutations create various means of mobility
